Jack Ouma Omollo, 32,  is alleged to have stolen the money from Alicia Bakers and Confection Limited between March 2015 and September 2016.

Mr. Omollo was a sales administrator at the company where he is accused of committing the offence alongside other people who were not present in court.

Bondo principal magistrate Moses Obiero was handed a report by the Director of Criminal Investigation that showed he still had Sh20M in his personal account.

Omollo pleaded not guilty to the charges but was denied bail by the principal magistrate.

His fellow students who turned in numbers threatened to cause chaos at the court after the judge denied him bail.

The next hearing has been set for 24th of October 2016.
