Kisii County Secondary School Heads Association (Kessha) chairman, Jairus Onchoke said focusing on the mean grade which has been set by each school will be better than focusing in destroying learning institutions.

“My challenge to the students is that let them focus on their targets so that they can achieve it by the end of the year. Burning dormitories cannot make them achieve their goals but will make them go home where they waste a lot of time,” said Onchoke.

Onchoke also challenged the community to come up with measures which will help curb fire incidents in schools which have been shaking the education sector in the past few days.

“We need to come up with measures as the community on how we can fight this menace which has seen affecting our education sector,” said Onchoke.
