According to Nation, some schools disclosed that more than 80 candidates from their registers missed the final exam.

Hagadera Secondary School had registered 503 candidates but only 423 managed to sit the exam at last, with the rest caught up in the gross migration into Somalia.

Similarly, 20 students from Waberi Secondary School operating in the refugee camp did not turn up for the exams.

The other schools affected were Towfiq, Nasib, Ifo, Tawakal and Dagahaley secondary schools.
