A number of Multi Media University students were seriously injured on Tuesday after police allegedly used live bullets to disperse them during their demonstrations.

Police moved in to intervene after the students barricaded roads and impeded transport as they protested the death one of them who died over the weekend in a road accident.

Six of the students have been confirmed seriously injured and are receiving medical attention.

Photos and videos circulating over social and mainstream media have been showing the nasty episode with samples of live bullets said to have been used by police.
