Bonchari constituency Member of Parliament John Oyioka has assured that over 2,000 students who applied for CDF bursary will all receive the funds.
The lawmaker said that information going around that CDF officials have prioritized applicants is false and misleading.
"I wish to assure all the students who applied for the CDF bursary funds that each applicant will receive the money. Constituents should ignore propaganda being spread that there is a list of prioritized beneficiaries," he said.
Oyioka said the application forms are being scrutinized before the money will be processed.
"We will verify the forms and ensure all applicants comes from Bonchari. No one from other constituencies will get the funds because this is only meant for Bonchari only," he said.
He said throughout his tenure he will not tolerate CDF officials who will be awarding relatives and close friends a huge amount of money leaving others.
"CDF funds will be distributed equally. CDF officials who think that they will allocate more funds to relatives and close friends are advised to resign before I catch up with them because if I do, it will be very rough. The mandate I was given by the electorate must be respected to ensure all constituents get quality service whether in my camp or not," he said.
