The county boss said parents should ensure their children are in school full time as required by the law.

“Students and pupils have had enough and good time at home with their parents. From Monday next week they are required to be in school and no one should be allowed to remain at home during school time,” he said.

He warned parents against allowing their children to drop school at a tender age.

“Parents who will condone their children to stay at home will be arrested together with the minors. Chiefs, Nyumba Kumi officials at the village level should work to ensure no one stays at home during school time,” he added.

Nakoru directed police bosses in every sub county to cooperate with local government officers to arrest school dropouts in the region.
