[Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno. photo/Hivsasa] Uasin Gishu Deputy governor Daniel Chemno has advised electorates to scrutinise aspirants for various elective posts in the upcoming general elections.He said this will ensure individuals with high integrity and ability to positively transform livelihoods are elected."Voters need to understand the aspirants. They should dig deeper into their background and be sure they are people of integrity," said Chemno."I also want to urge the public not to accept any inducement so as to vote for somebody as this will lead to having wrong people in the right positions," he added.Chemno further warned aspirants against engaging in divisive politics which he said might lead to violence."We need to conduct our campaigns peacefully so that we don't create animosity among the electorate. We don't need to antagonize one another on the basis of religion or ethnicity as these are clear recipes of chaos," Chemno noted.
