Kenyan youths continue to bear the brunt of unemployment, a study has revealed. A majority of those polled fell in the 15 -24 years bracket with many revealing that they were not making enough money to meet their basic needs.The Well Told Story research firm has revealed that only 4 percent of youths were financially secure.According to the study, there appears to be a surge in the number of unemployed youths from 49 percent last to 63 percent this year. The study said that half of the youths polled believed that lack of money was a hurdle to the achievement of their aspirations. This study comes in the wake of a mounting political crisis pitting the ruling Jubilee Party against the opposition, worsening the unemployment ravaging the youth.
