Bahati legislator, Kimani Ngunjiri has condemned the opposition, Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) members who interrupted the president during his state of the nation address at the parliament on Thursday.
"CORD needs to exercise sobriety and responsibility in putting the government to account instead of resorting to divisive causes as exhibited in parliament during the president`s second state of the nation address, " he said.
He cautioned the opposition against ill-thought antics that he says can only misfire and jeopardize their bid for presidency in 2017.
"Raila Odinga should exemplify a sincere statesman and a Kenyan patriot by galvanizing the opposition to champion pertinent issues through legal means," Kimani added. Ngunjiri was speaking at Kiamaina secondary on Friday where he issued Uwezo fund cheques totaling to Sh 500,000 to women groups and people living with disabilities
