Subukia’s Milimani area Chief Norman Kiiru has warned young people against joining criminal groups.
The Chief, while addressing a public Baraza on Monday, cautioned the youths saying that the long arm of the law will not spare them.
He said that he has received complaints from village elders that young people are taking part in crime.
“We want to caution the youths against joining criminal groups, the law will not spare them,” he said.
The Chief instead asked the youths to use their time wisely and take part in activities that will add value to their lives.
He said that crime would only make things for them adding that local administration has put in place measures that will ensure young people are occupied.
Meanwhile, Kiiru has called on the area locals to support security initiatives being taken by the administration.
He intimated that they have put in place measures met to boost security of all residents.
“We still urge the locals to embrace Nyumba Kumi as one of the initiative the government has taken to boost security.
