[Photo/Daily Nation]The incumbent Nairobi Members of County Assembly (MCAs) received a political shock after the ODM and Jubilee primaries where 50 out of the current 85 failed to impress the voters and were voted out.The assembly which boast of 43 opposition MCA and 42 from the government side saw only 21 one of them winning the party primaries.Among the popular MCAs that fell include Viwandani's Samuel Nyangwara who at one point in time tried to push a motion to oust Governor Evans Kidero but failed, another one that was shown no mercy by the electorate is Jubilee's chief whip Hashim Kamau. However, it was not all gloomy for opposition majority leader Elias Okumu and his counterpart Jubilee minority leader Abdi Guyo who won their primaries. Here is the list of the 21 MCAs who made the cut. From the ODM side the following won: Elias Okumu(Kileleshwa), Moses Ogeto(Kilimani), Alvin Olanda(Kitisuru), Mike Guoro(Gatina), Kipkemoi Munga(Kabiro), Peter Anyule(Makongeni), David Mberia(Karen), Maurice Gari(Nairobi West), and Kingsley Odida(Umoja 2).From Jubilee: Peter Wahinya(Ngando), Fredrick Njogu (Kawangware), Peter Warutere (Roysambu), Millicent Mugadi(Ziwani/Kariokor), James Chege(Ngara), Robert Mbatia(Embakasi West), Muiruri Kiguathi(Mihango), Charles Thuo(Dandora area 3), Peter Gitau (Dandora area 1), Abdi Guyo(Matopeni), and Anthony Karanja(Waithaka).
