“Our Relationship with the Kenyan government is excellent, the problem is with the youths who decided to hold the function without notifying the authorities,”said Andrew Agok a South Sudan official.

“Our cooperation will continue to be excellent with the authorities and if any one goes against the law then the administration will fix it as it’s suppose to,” he added

The arrest comes as there is a rocky relationship with South Sudan government after the withdrawal of KDF troops from South Sudan and the firing of Lt. Gen. Johnson Mogoa Kimani by the UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon.

The press secretary of South Sudan's former vice president Riek Machar was also deported for reasons that have not been revealed yet.

James Gatdet was put on a flight to South Sudan capital Juba last week by the police.

Kenyans in South Sudan have expressed fear for their safety but Machar ordered for their protection in areas under control by rebels.

Machar however, condemned the deportation of Gatdet on Friday saying it’s a violation of Geneva Convention
