Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has warned his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter against dragging the name of Deputy President William Ruto into the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) maize scam.
Sudi says such a move was uncalled for and disrespectful to the DP.
“I want to tell my friend Alfred Keter to stop this nonsense of alluding that the DP is involved in the maize scandal. Two months ago he was involved in a corruption case at Central Bank and he has started branding our leader as corrupt yet he is the one who is corrupt,” said Sudi in Eldoret town, Sunday.
The two-time Jubilee legislator cautioned Keter against using the scam to implicate DP Ruto to get political mileage.
“DP Ruto is not your son for you to talk to him as you think. He is the Kalenjin leader and Kenya at large thus deserve respect. You should keep off him completely and stop using his name,” he said.
Sudi, DP's close ally further warned Keter against bringing dirty politics in Uasin Gishu saying he will not allow it to happen under his watch.
