The former Kiharu MP vied for presidency in 1992 and was among leaders who fought fr multiparty democracy during ex-president Daniel Moi's era.

"My condolences and family goes to Hon Kenneth Stanley Njindo Matiba family on his untimely demise, Idon't know of any Kenyan who is hardworking and enterprising like him, I can only compare him with Tom Mboya, William Ruto and John Michuki. 

He was my icon and a leader extraordinary since he pushed for multipartism in Kenya that is enjoyed by many up to date.

My the almighty God give the family strength during this difficult trying moments.
