Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has put on notice corrupt Constituency Development Fund (CDF) officials.
He said anybody who will be found embezzling public funds will be shown the door.
“I have received information from the public that there are some CDF officials who are corrupt. My friend you were given the job to serve residents free of charge and if you will be found you will carry your own cross. I won’t allow few self-centered individuals to tarnish my name,” he said in Eldoret town, Sunday.
“I want to urge all CDF officials to ensure that the funds are put to good use and any embezzlement will not be tolerated. I want people of my constituency to get quality and not quantity service,” he added
The MP asked his constituents to be on the lookout and report any CDF official who is corrupt and promised to take stern actions against him or her.
“This time around any contractor who will do a shoddy job will not be paid until he or she follow the laid down construction specifications,” noted Sudi.
