He said he will contest the seat on a Jubilee Party ticket.

"I will be contesting for the Kapseret parliamentary seat for a second term, and I am ready to face my competitors who have declared their interests," he said.

Speaking during a church service at Kapseret on Sunday, Sudi refuted claims he had ditched Jubilee, saying he is there to stay.

"There are some politicians tarnishing my name in their campaigns claiming that I had joined the opposition, they should look for alternative ways to woo voters to join their camps," he said.

He added that he believes in healthy competition and not name calling, which would lead to polarisation of the country along tribal and political affiliations.

He however said he will continue criticising the government until it delivers promises it made to Kenyans.

"The Jubilee government should be put on check and criticising it does not mean I don't support the government, I am just making them to work to meet the expectations of the electorate," he said.
