Patients are being forced to buy drugs from private chemists as acute shortage of drugs hit Molo sub-county hospital.
The situation has brought misery to many patients who frequent the facility on daily basis.
They said the lack of medicine has put their lives at risk.
"The drugs got finished about three weeks ago, leaving healthcare providers with nothing to offer to us," a patient told Saturday Nation.
"We are suffering because we have been forced to buy drugs from private chemists outside the hospital at exorbitant prices," she added.
However, county pharmacist Alice Gichobi blamed the hospital for failing to pick drugs from the main store.
"I will talk to the pharmacist in charge at the hospital and ask them to collect the drugs that have run out," Gichobi told Saturday Nation.
