The Coast parliamentary group chairman Suleiman Dori has said Coast leaders will recognize and respect deputy President's work.

Speaking in Kwale County where the deputy president William Ruto was meeting the county residents, Mr. Dori assured the DP that Coast leaders are ready and will be working with him (Ruto).  Mr. Dori added that Coast leaders want to work with a team that can come in, in their times of need and gather for their interests.

"We must work with a team where our interests are catered for." said Mr. Dori

Mr. Dori has also said Coast leaders will be focusing on uniting people. He said none of them will be playing dividing politics.

"We don't want divisions in terms of politics," Mr Dori said.

Mr. Dori also echoed the DP's stand by saying 2022 presidential elections should wait until the right time comes.

"When 2022 comes people will come out and compete," Mr. Dori added.

The deputy President, William Ruto launched several projects in the county, where he asked Kwale residents to support the government.

The DP launched the construction of the Milalani-Mivumoni-Kilulu road and donated a bus to Kingwede Girls Secondary School. He has also promised more projects for the residents.
