The opposition's NASA coalition leadership and delegation arrived in Homa Bay county on Saturday January 27, for the People's Assembly convention, Nyanza chapter.
Led by Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and host Governor Cyprian Awiti, several opposition leaders also arrived in Homa Bay town for the convention ahead of the controversial swearing-in ceremony on January 30.
Below is a summary of what Odinga said:
1. That he is no longer afraid of the threats of sanctions issued by the international community.
2. That on January 30, people should settle down at Uhuru Park by 9 am to wait for their grand arrival ahead of the swearing-in.
3. That the administration of oath will be carried out by anonymous and competent judge of the high court.
4. That January 30, will determine whether Kenya will be led through democracy or through chaos.
5. That Norman Magaya, David Ndii and Ledama Ole Kina will lead the assumption of office committee.
6. That if you have never seen a radical revolution in Kenya, then wait for January 30.
7. That the sword and other symbols of power have already been sourced, to be used during the oath process.
8. That the legitimate President and Deputy President from January 30th will be Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka respectively.
