Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leadership in Suna East constituency has differed with their Member of Parliament over the party’s newly proposed national leadership.
They said the area MP, Junet Mohammed expressed his own opinion and not of his constituents.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday in Migori, ODM Organising Secretary Joseph Nyambori said that after his consultation with the chairman Festo Ogwada, they decided to make known to the public the party’s stand considering Junet’s remarks early this week.
“Whatever Mohammed is saying is his own opininion and doe not represent everyone’s opnion,” added Nyambori.
He added that they are supporting the ODM party Leader Raila Odinga, because they came to conclusions after thorough consultations to have the leadership of the party months after the botched elections.
Nyambori also noted that they have been involved as delegates to scrutinize the list of leaders released by the ODM party in December.
