Traders drawn from Suneka market Kisii South have now vowed to evade paying levies until the County Government compensates those who were recently affected by fire.
According to the traders since the fire incident happened in the area, there is no County official who has visited the scene in solidarity with the affected.
Led by Edward Machuma, they said the County Government was unable to address emergencies.
"We have agreed not to pay any levies to the County government until the Governor compensates e affected," he said.
This comes just a week after fire razed down a section of suneka market.
Fire incidents have been on the rise in the area and those affected have been putting Kisii County Government on spot over laxity.
