Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has challenged those asking for the cancellation of KCSE to stop and instead support the reforms which have been done in the ministry Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

According to Maangi who was speaking on Monday in his office, there are tremendous changes which have been achieved in the education sector which needs support by all leaders.

“There are tremendous changes which have been achieved in the ministry of education, as leaders, we should stop criticising what has been achieved,” he said.

“The recent results of National examination is a true picture of education standard in Kenya, how can we start criticising the results which have been well achieved," said Maangi.

This comes after KNUT secretary Wilson Soisson called for the cancellation of  KCSE results.

Maangi insisted that this is the time we need to support CS Fred Matiang’i for the good work done in the ministry of education.
