Speaking Monday, Mbugua said the merger was aimed at achieving development and enhancing unity, hence needs to be supported.

"I wish to also put across that the effort of Jubilee party of bringing together other political parties to unison is for them to work together for a common goal which is to achieve development irrespective of region and race.I call upon residents to embrace this as it will help achieve development as intended as well as ruling out social differences," she said.

Deputy President William Ruto during his visit to the county a week ago said that the planned merger of all parties that formed the Jubilee coalition would go on as planned and that the new political outfit will soon be unveiled.

Mbugua was speaking in her office when she hosted members of the Nakuru professional business women.
