Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has called upon members of parliament associated with ‘Omogusii Unity’ to support his second term bid.
According to Ongwae in the few years, he has been in office he has delivered and he would like to serve the people of Kisii County for another term that will start in 2017.
Speaking at a burial of Peter N Ongeri Member of the County Assembly for Nyacheki Ward Bobasi Sub-county the governor said that the only unity that can work well in Kisii county will be under his leadership.
“I like the way ‘Omogusii Unity’ is working and I would like to call upon them to ensure they support me again come 2017 so that I can finish my term in office,” he added.
Ongwae said that he is ready to work with any leader in the county to ensure prosperity as that is his key agenda in office.
The governor called upon his opponents to seize from campaigning against him but sell great agendas to the residents.
