Kisii County Education board chairman Dr Henry Onderi has asked education stakeholders across the county to embrace the delocalization of headteachers that was introduced by the Teachers Service Commission.
Dr Onderi said that the move will improve education standards in the country and see students improve in class.
"I support the move by TSC that is aimed at improving education standards in the country, it will address issues of nepotism and make teachers pull up their socks. In return students will benefit," he said.
He argued that all teachers registered by TSC were qualified and should be given good reception whenever they are sent to new schools.
Parents. students and teachers should ensure that they give them humble time so as they can improve education standards in the country.
Dr Onderi also warned management of various boards in the county to ensure that they follow education rules and action will be taken against those who will not.
"School board directors led by school heads should ensure that the follow the law failure to which action will be taken against them," he said.
