Speaking during Kionyo-Kiobegi education day in Bobasi constituency, Kisumu county Teachers Service Commission director Mr Patrick Nyagosia challenged leaders and politicians who are interfering with education in most schools in the region to stop.

Mr Patrick challenged them to make sure that they support the schools in terms of development so that they can perform well rather than bringing divisions in schools.

“The work of any leaders is to help schools when we find some politicians and leaders interfering with education in our schools we fail to understand since the interference causes divisions within the schools,” said Nyagosia.

In addition, he cautioned politicians who have been causing the disturbances since they have hindered the performance of some schools.

“When politicians interfere with the school it's automatic that we can't achieve good results hence I urge our leaders and politicians to assist the schools in positive ways,” added Nyagosia.

He also noted that there is need of sensitisation on how schools should use the resources provided to enhance smooth learning in the institutions.
