Kiambu MP Jude Njomo has urged Kenyans to back President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government in the fight against corruption.
Njomo says that the public need to support the government in the fight against corruption.
He said that criticising and ridiculing the government will derail efforts put in place to tame the vice.
Speaking to the press after distributing success cards to candidates at Ting’ang’a Primary School on Monday, Njomo observed that the war on graft needs concerted efforts.
“Kenyans should stop listening to opposition propaganda and support Uhuru’s government fight against corruption,” said the legislator.
The Kiambu MP stated that corruption is a national issue that every stakeholder needs to help address.
The MP at the same time defended the Jubilee government against claims that it has failed to tame corruption.
Njomo observed that Uhuru’s government has shown great commitment in fighting the vice.
“Those claiming that Uhuru is unable to fight graft are only politicking,” he said.
The Uhuru Kenyatta government has been under scrutiny with the opposition accusing it of tolerating corruption.
