The Supreme Court judges, led by Chief Justice David Maraga return to the limelight tomorrow to read out a comprehensive reasoning of their judgment that dismissed two petitions that sought to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.This unanimous ruling set the stage for the swearing in of President Uhuru Kenyatta for his second and final term.The opposition leader, Raila Odinga, dismissed the ruling saying that it had been delivered in a climate of intimidation and great duress.Judges dismissed the two petitions on the grounds that they lacked merit.Mwau, one of the petitioners, contended that the IEBC contravened the law by not seeking to have fresh nominations after the 'withdrawal' of Mr. Odinga from the October 26 rerun. He also sought the court's clarification on the steps that ought to have been taken prior to the rerun.The court is expected to respond to all these questions tomorrow.The comprehensive judgment comes on the eve of Jamhuri Day celebrations and the swearing-in of Raila Odinga.
