[Photo/Nation]The much awaited Supreme court verdict on the 2017 presidential election petition will be delivered today, Friday. The judgement is likely to be made before 6pm.This is because the Chief Justice David Maraga is a staunch Seventh Day Adventist and his Sabbath starts on Friday at 6pm and ends Saturday 6pm.Maraga categorically stated he cannot work on a Sabbath in line with his Sabbath Day Adventist faith. The Chief Justice on Tuesday said he cannot tell the exact time when the ruling will made. He however noted the time will be communicated through the registrar of the court. The seven-judge bench will either validate or invalidate President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.The National Super Alliance (Nasa) principals Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka filed the petition seeking to nullify Uhuru's win.
