President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory in the August 8 poll was 'stolen', an MP from Ukambani has said.
According to Mwala lawmaker Vincent Musyoka, the Jubilee Party candidate had won with a clear margin in the race he was closely challenged by NASA's Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a Sunday service at the Chrisco Church in Vota, Machakos County, the MP faulted the Supreme Court decision to overturn Uhuru's victory.
Musyoka asked church leaders to come out openly and condemn the ruling which he said robbed Kenyans of their deserved win.
"Where is the voice of the Church over the Supreme Court ruling? What the court did was to steal the victory of President Kenyatta," he said, as quoted by the Standard.
The MP urged the Kamba community, which overwhelmingly voted for Raila, to join the 'winning' team, Jubilee, in the repeat poll due next month."
"October 17 will be another chance for those who were misled to support the Opposition to make the right decision and vote for Jubilee which is confident will win again," said Musyoka.
