The leaders said they will use all means to ensure ODM leader Raila Odinga is sworn in as president in 2017.

Former Nairobi Mayor and controversial politician George Aladwa said there should be a credible election process claiming that in the past Raila has been denied power by people who rig elections.

“This time round we will do everything in our power to ensure Raila is president,” said Aladwa.

His sentiments were echoed by student leader and Embakassi East parliamentary seat aspirant Babu Owino.

“We have suffered enough yet we usually win in every general election. We shall sit at polling stations and protect our votes. Supreme Court will not be an option this time,” said Owino.

The leaders were speaking at a rally in Vihiga addressed by Mr Odinga during his five day visit in Western region.

In the last General Election which was controversial, the opposition went to the Supreme Court to contests the presidential results but Raila lost the case and the court upheld the win by Jubilee coalition presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta.
