Dennis Oliech also made a come back when Kenya played against Zambia in Nairobi where Kenya lost 2-1.

Oliech did not really impress and same might be witnessed with Mariga given his disappearance from the national team since 2014.

Until the resignation of Paul Put, Stanley Okumbi had been the assistant of the team.

Both guided the team to CECAFA silverware in December last year.

Harambee Stars has been struggling when it comes to management issues, having been on the spot for signing and firing coaches almost every two years.

The team was recently eliminated in it's World cup campaigns and now have very slim chances of qualifying for the next Afcon Champions when they host Ghana in September in an Afcon qualifier tie.

In preparation for the team, FKF has lined up two friendlies that will see both local and international players given opportunities to prove their abilities.

Stars are scheduled to play international friendly against Comoros and later the Central African Republic.
