Following the accusations by MCA Kiiru on misusing of funds, Susan Kihika Nakuru County Assembly Speaker has defended her campaigns as some people have claimed them to be expensive and beyond her means.
"I am serious about being the next senator of Nakuru County and that is why I have given the campaign my all," she said.
Her campaigns began on February 2015 and they have been flashy with vehicles and at times helicopters and she has still maintained that standard to date.
A civil rights group has written to the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission asking it to investigate her source of wealth since her salary cannot sustain such a campaign.
However, Ms Kihika who is vying for the Jubilee Party ticket against Koigi Wamwere and Njenga Mungai says her campaigns were sponsored by her family, friends, supporters and well-wishers.
