Dr Musyoka says that the intolerance being exercised by a section of politicians is bad for the people.

She said that acts of intolerance if not tamed will create divisions among the locals and hamper unity.

“As much as politicians have divergent views and ideologies they must learn to exercise tolerance and also humility,” she said on phone on Wednesday.

Dr Musyoka said that the interests of the people should not be overridden by personal political agendas.

She also asked political leaders to spearhead unity among the people.

He said acts of antagonizing the people on political grounds would hamper realization of development in the county.

The Machakos women leader at the same time urged residents not to be divided by politicians.

She asked them (locals) to keep off politicians who perpetuate hate mongering.
