One man suspected of murdering a bodaboda operator three months ago was arrested in Tunga area, Mwala sub-county, Machakos county.
Confirming the incident, Mwala OCPD Henry Rukaria Kimathi said that after investigations the police arrested the man who is expected to appear in court on Monday.
However the police boss refused vehemently to disclose the police station holding the suspect.
The suspect allegedly killed a bodaboda operator by name Mwanzia Kiteme and robbed him his motorbike.
Afterwards, the suspect is said to have hidden the body of the man where bones and clothes suspected to belong to the bodaboda operator were found in Tunga three months later.
The relatives of the bodaboda operator had tirelessly searched for him for three months without success.
This comes a few days after bodaboda operators from Yathui and Wamunyu area demonstrated calling upon the police to hasten the investigation and bring the culprits behind the murder of the bodaboda operator to book.
The bodaboda operators had blocked Yathui-Kalawa road where they urged the police to ensure them of security.
