A man accused of killing a Swiss couple has been declared fit to stand trial.
The Shanzu law court heard that Geoffrey Mwaki alias Jeff is suspected to have murdered Paul and Marianne Borner was fit to progress with the case.
A report from Coast Provincial General Hospital declared the suspect of sound mind.
According to the report, Mwaki's appearance, behaviour, mood and cognition were normal during the assessment that was overseen by two police officers.
The case will be mentioned on September 26 where Mwaki will be charged with murder.
The couples' bodies were found wrapped in bedding in Kiembeni and police reports indicate that may have been killed at their Villa Mariana residence in Nyali.
