Enock Osanse, the prime suspect in the brutal murder of three children of Kapsoya MCA candidate James Ratemo is on Wednesday expected to be arraigned in an Eldoret High Court to take a plea in relation to three murder charges he is facing.
Onsase, 26, appeared before Justice George Kimondo last week but did not take a plea as he had no advocate.
The Deputy Registrar at the Eldoret High Court was directed to ensure the suspect gets an advocate before he can be allowed to take a plea.
According to court documents, the suspect is accused of killing the three children at Moisbride on May 13th, the same day they were reported missing while on their way to a nearby Eldovile SDA church in Kapsoya estate, Eldoret town.
It is claimed that he was the last person to be seen with the children before they went missing and only for their bodies to be found floating on River Nzoia in the neighboring Trans Nzoia county.
Autopsy of the bodies revealed that the children were strangled to death before they were dumped into the river. The children were buried on Friday at Nyacheki village in Kisii county.
Ratemo is vying for the Kapsoya MCA seat on a Kanu ticket.
