Police in Eldoret town on Sunday arrested a middle aged man linked to the murder of a Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) student.According to Eldoret East OCPD Rashid Omanga, the suspect was arrested at Sukunanga estate, a few kilometers from the institution."Police raided the suspect's house and found blood stained clothes suspected to belong to the deceased prompting to his arrest," Omanga said.The student's body had been found along River Sosiani a few kilometers from the Sukunanga estate where suspect lives."The body of the deceased had deep wounds and we suspect he was attacked with a panga," noted the OCPD who said the suspect will be arraigned in court once police finalize with their instigations.Following the incident RVTTI students on Monday staged a demonstration and attempted to burn a car wash located near the place where the body was found.Police however responded in time and dispersed the students who had also blocked the busy Eldoret - Nakuru highway causing a heavy traffic snarl up.
