Police in Mombasa on Friday morning shot dead a suspected terrorist in Likoni.Likoni police boss Benjamin Rotich who confirmed the incident said police officers raided the suspect's house in Shika Adabu area at around 3 am.The OCPD said police have been trailing the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Ali Hamis Mzomo for several weeks.Rotich said they suspect Mzomo, who was on the police wanted list, had been in Somalia for the last three years and only returned to the country two weeks ago, The Star has reported.Rotich said Mzomo was shot dead after he refused to surrender, engaging the officers in a fight."He refused to surrender and instead tried to engage the officers in a fight. He was overpowered and shot dead," said Rotich.
