Residents of Nyamataro were left in shock after a body of a man suspected to be a thief was on Monday morning found dumped at Nyamataro satellite, Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County.
Residents said, the late is among a gang of men suspected to be terrorizing locals.
"I know the man because he has been mentioned severally by locals as a dangerous man who attacks traders along the Kisii- Nyakoe highway," said Abel Mogusu a local.
According to the area Nyumba Kumi official Lilian Kemunto, the lifeless body of thr man was discovered by a road passer by.
"We are yet to get hold of the people behind his death but the police have started their investigations," she said.
According to her, police officers took the body to the Kisii Teaching and referral hospital mortuary.
