Musa Kusur, Daniel Lokitari, Titus Longor and Lomudungule Yatta are accused of shooting their victims on 19 February at a local pub.
After the killing a section of Baringo residents held demonstrations with some linking influential Jubilee politician Asman Kamama and the Baringo county assembly speaker William Kamket to the two murders.
Kamama distanced himself from the killings which some residents believed were political assassinations.
Pepe had declared his interest in challenging Kamama for the Tiaty parliamentary seat while Cheretei was set to defend his Loyamorok Member of County Assembly seat.
