Mombasa-based singer Susumila's father Mzee Kombo Kinando, has passed away.

Mzee Kombo is said to have died on Monday at his home in Chumani, Kilifi County.

Susumila, who has hit the airwaves with different hits including Mapepe and Hidaya, said his father had been sick for some time.

He, however, did not disclose the cause of his father's death during an interview with the Pulse.

“My father passed (away) on Monday morning at home in Chumani, Kilifi County. He had been sick for some time now. He will be buried tomorrow,” said Susumila.

Mzee Kombo had 15 children.
