Mwala MP Engineer Vincent Musyoka has warned NASA politicians against their alleged plan to swear-in Raila Odinga.

Speaking to journalists at parliament Buildings in Nairobi on Friday, Musyoka warned that any attempt by NASA to swear-in Raila will be treated as a criminal act.

The MP says that NASA has no grounds on which to swear-in Raila Odinga and that they (NASA) should accept Uhuru is the elected president.

He said that NASA politicians including Raila risks arrest and jail time if they go on with their alleged plan.

“The constitution is very clear on who is supposed to be sworn-in as president and in this case is President Uhuru Kenyatta and not his rival Raila Odinga,” he said.

The MP asked NASA to use the right channels in pushing their agenda, warning that swearing-in Raila is constitutional.

“NASA should use the constitution in advocating their agenda instead of issuing threats and causing anxiety in the country,” he added.

President Kenyatta will be sworn in for a second term on Tuesday next week the day NASA has announced a major rally at Nairobi's Uhuru Park.

There have been claims that the opposition politicians could use the Uhuru Park rally to swear-in Raila as their president.
