Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader Alfred Mutua has expressed concern over the scheduled swearing-in of Nasa principals Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka terming it a recipe for chaos.Mutua who is also the Machakos Governor said that the country cannot have two presidents."This talk of two presidents is bad for our country. We are going to have another shit hole country,” Dr Mutua said at a press conference in Machakos, Friday morning. The governor said Kenyans should begin questioning themselves where they are heading to as a people. The governor warned that the much-hyped swearing in by NASA could spark civil war and consequently scare away investors from the country. He was flanked by his deputy, Francis Maliti and the party’s branch chairman, Timothy Kilonzo.
Dr Mutua said it was unfortunate that those pushing for the swearing in of Raila and Kalonzo were politicians who had amassed wealth unlike millions of vulnerable and poor Kenyans."I urge our friends to please forget about these shenanigans and work towards developing our country,” he said. He said the swearing-in plan was the planting of seeds of civil war that could plunge the country into another Somalia or Sudan."Our neighbors who love us are telling us, come on men, can't you learn from what we have gone through,” said Mutua.
