President Uhuru Kenyatta has commended the table banking program citing that through the initiative more women have benefited across the country.
He said that the initiative now covers 90% of all the constituencies in Kenya.
"The table banking program now covers nearly 90 percent of all constituencies in Kenya and is a good example of how to unite women in and their families", said Uhuru.
"Women have an important role to play in building our country, and society and you can only measure the progress a country is making by how it treats its women, and the progress women are making in improving their welfare", he added.
He urged women to stand firm in preaching unity across the country.
"Every woman in Kenya should stay strong and embrace unity so that you can sustain your important role in building our beloved NatioN", he added.
