The General Service Unit (GSU) is well known by rioters as on of the harshest service men in Kenya.
They are known to be heartless in their line of duty.
The 'Fanya fujo uone', as commonly referred to, are known to sweep anything that comes along their way, be it a chicken or a dog.
It takes various tactics, rather than the normal training, to be a GSU officer.
You have to have an "ugly sura ya kazi" to make sure no human will bear to face you.
The red eyes should come in handy. May be due to the herb, or some liquor or naturally red.
You have to be sharp in hopping off the land cruiser fast enough to make sure at least you get one victim to 'teach a lesson'.
During demos, which have become common on our streets, the only way GSUs uses is the tear gas way, no matter how peaceful you are. This might seem to be a rule but its a tactic to make sure they win.
To be a complete GSU, you must have hit the gym to make sure that you use your fimbo tirelessly to hit any trespass. This had seen many victims die and hospitalized.
"Is that how that discipline their kids at home?"
