After some time away from its usual active business, Taj Mall is set for a relaunch that will open doors for greater commercial activity.
The mall has experienced lacklustre business levels after their over 500 tenants vacated the premises over fears that it was bound to be demolished for being in a road reserve zone.
The number of tenants dropped to just 12.
However, it was later established that the building would be spared and this attracted the attention of investors in the city.
Mall owner Rameshchandra Gorasia has announced that the shopping complex will now be relaunched on January 19 in what is expected to bring even more trade at the venue.
The mall has even changed from Taj Shopping Mall to Airgate Centre with renovation works put in place transform the premises.
