An MP allied to the Jubilee Party has urged President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta to stand firm and deal with inciters once he is sworn into office for his second term.Sirisia MP John Waluke said it was necessary for the President to contain leaders who have been on the record inciting Kenyans to cause violence in the country.Speaking during a show on Citizen TV on Tuesday, the MP said it was regrettable that while Uhuru and the Jubilee by extension were busy preaching peace and pacifying communities in the country, other leaders had resorted to doing the reverse to gain political mileage."My appeal to President Uhuru is that he needs to stamp his authority and be firm against leaders in this country who are keen on inciting Kenyans to cause violence,” said Waluke.Waluke also criticised the planned address by NASA leader Raila Odinga to his supporters on Tuesday, noting that it was not a big deal."That address will be centered around going to the courts to annul the outcome of this repeat election. That sadly will not come to pass this time around because we know their machinations,” he said.Waluke’s remarks came before Raila addressed his supporters on the next course of action after the IEBC on Monday declared Uhuru the winner of the October 26 repeat presidential polls.
