A section of Nairobi residents are angered by the way Governor Mike Sonko is setting his priorities in matters road construction.
This comes after the governor did a road in Kasarani and publicised it on Facebook.
"Transformation of Maji Mazuri Access Road in ClayCity Ward, Kasarani sub-county.The road once complete will have a good drainage system, pathways and streetlights," he posted.
However, Sonko received a backlash from the residents telling him that he had not set his priorities right:
Gathoni Nyokabi said: "You are doing an access road when main Kasarani-Mwiki road is a shamba??"
Irene Kanini said: "A joke of the year. Potholes in Kasarani-Mwiki road are just overwhelming."
Onesmus Nzuki said: "Why are (you) forgetting Kasarani-Mwiki road is full of potholes? Please consider it because we're really suffering."
Ann Njogu Kuria said: "What of the main Kasarani-Mwiki road. It's pathetic, I think you need to have priority."
Simon Gitau said: "Rehabilitate the main feeder road - Kasarani-Mwiki. It is in a terrible state! Achana na those small access roads za estate ndani."
Allan Githua said: "Ridiculous, how? Just how can you do while Kasarani-Mwiki road is pathetic. Nonsense."
