Kiambu County Member of Parliament (MP) Jude Njomo has sent a message of condolence to former Prime Minister and Cord leader Raila Odinga for losing his son Fidel Odinga.
Njomo who was speaking in Kiambu town where he attended a mass ceremony in Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Sunday said that despite political affiliation, no man feels happy when someone loses they loved ones.
He said that the late Fidel Odinga was a kind person who never got involved with dirty politics of Kenya adding that losing such a young man is not only a blow to the Odinga family, but also to the nation.
Njomo said that Kenya has lost a big and talented entrepreneur whose position as a businessman will not be easily matched by anybody.
“Fidel was a talented entrepreneur and his death will have a great impact to the business industry of the country,” said Njomo
He further sent a sympathy message to the Odinga family and reminding them that everything is under God’s control.
Fidel Odinga, whom according to the police, was allegedly found dead in his Karen house today morning was Raila Odinga’s first born.
The MP has however challenged youth to be cautious of their friends and to know the whereabouts of their friends’ background to avoid possible cases of mischief by these close friends.
The deceased has left a wife and a child. Police has since launched an investigation to determine the root cause of the late Fidel Odinga’s mysterious death.
